Lately I’ve had the opportunity to participate in group discussions and workshops where I was reminded of my passion for learning and teaching Emotional Intelligence. Yes, I’m always in the F for feeling category in the Myers Briggs Personality type tests. Go figure. My Mum says I was born with manners, but don’t worry I’ve had some good friends who have taught me how to swear somewhat convincingly too. (Thanks Anne! 😉 )
So, to give structure and value to my ongoing and inevitable creative endeavours I want to focus more narrowly on this as a theme. Naturally I (and my likewise crazily creative minded sister Fiona) have many thoughts on creations, products, and content that I could contribute in this field, but I want to do something that matters to people. So much. Part of embracing my passion for this field of values is working with my collectivist inclination and value system.
The most meaningful activity in which a human being can be engaged is one that is directly related to human evolution. This is true because human beings now play an active and critical role not only in the process of their own evolution but in the survival and evolution of all living beings.

To my way of thinking the concept of EQ and related concepts plays a big part in conscious living.
At this stage I am putting this idea out to as many people I have contact with as possible and inviting you to be a part of it in any way shape or form. I’m going to enumerate ideas I have for projects, ask opinions, find out where interest is and where usefulness lies, and collect input by bugging you all to work / play / plan with me. The world can use more caring, empowerment, compassion and joint endeavours, I reckon.
(Also, now I’ve motivated myself to continue this plan when I feel insecure and pointless, by counter-balancing it with my desire to support my value system, and (more motivating by far) not look foolish by backing down from my intentions without due cause. )
THIS IS JUST THE BEGINNING! (Always.)
